Fairing Research and Development

The Fairing is known to cover payload while ascending into high skys. Also, depending on the design / shape of the fairing it has a main influence on drag, air resistance of the rocket. This is a valid fact for all rockets, independent of their size. But how to uncover the payload at apogee? As chief hardware designer, Oleg Boltonof developed one method, using a simple magnetic circuit to open and separate the fairing.
